Lea is a friend of mine who has been talking about Mariage Frères for years, so she seemed like the perfect person to interview to get an enthusiast's perspective on the brand.

Hello Lea, thank you for accepting this interview with me, could you first tell me about your tea consumption, its frequency and your favorite teas ?

Hello ! Thank you for asking me to do this interview. I am a big fan of teas, I love them all and all kinds. I drink more black teas like the classic Darjeeling or Assam. I also like blue teas a lot. I am less of a green tea fan but I never say no to a great vintage.

For my consumption, I would say one or two a day.

What are your favorite tea brands ?

I really like brands with great traditions. I'm a big fan of Mariage Frères and Damman Frères, which for me represents excellence in terms of teas. I love the history of French tea, the art of the table that goes with it and its constant search for exceptional products.

What are your favorite Mariage Frères teas ?

As I said earlier, I really like black tea. So I am a fan of Darjeeling Bel Air and also Darjeeling Spiral which I find incredible. For blue teas, the Marco Paulo Blue is a must.

Have you already tested Mariage Frères' ancillary products?

Yes, I received a teapot last Christmas that I use regularly and I think it is great. Just like their teas, their products around tea are great.
